Mulling Spices

To make a delicious mulled beverage, put these mulling spices in a teaball or muslin bag and simmer in water for 20 minutes to release the flavors. Discard the water, pour in the wine, cider or brandy, and gently heat. Remove the mulling spices and make sure to serve it piping hot. For a standard bottle of wine or brandy, use 1 tablespoon of spices; for cider, use 3 tablespoons per gallon. 

Ingredients: Cinnamon, allspice, cloves, cardamom, mace.
